Spike Polite & Sewage - Punk Not Dead

Spike Polite & Sewage is a punk band hailing from New York City. Led by Spike Polite (Vocals/Guitar), the band includes Michelle Schocked (Bass/Vocals), Tony Romero (Guitar), and Beast (Drums). The unit is known for their raw sound, blending elements of punk and hardcore.

Spike Polite & Sewage have unleashed their latest release, "Punk Not Dead", on 12-inch vinyl. The opening track, “What Happened to The Punk Rock”, sets the tone with its ferocious energy. Spike Polite's vocals channel a sense of defiance that cuts through their jarring sound. The A-side of the record bursts with attitude and intensity, delivering a potent mix of pounding rhythms. Side B offers up interesting club remixes of “Punk Not Dead” and “Florida”.

Overall, "Punk Not Dead" is a testament of the band’s raw energy, delivering a dynamic range of sounds while never losing sight of its punk roots. "Punk Not Dead" reminds us that the spirit of punk is alive and well, ready to inspire a new generation of rebels and misfits.

"Punk Not Dead" is available now thru Solid Bass Records.

Raw Deal - '88 Demo

Raw Deal was formed in 1988 by former members of Breakdown: Carl Porcaro, Rich McLoughlin, and Anthony Drago. The trio recruited Anthony Comunale (former Token Entry vocalist) and Mike Sentkiewitz (former New York Hoods guitarist) to round out the lineup. The band recorded a 7-song demo on cassette, and began playing shows throughout the tri-state area. Shortly after Mike Sentkiewitz left the band, Raw Deal was signed by In Effect Records. Due to legal action, Raw Deal changed their name to Killing Time and released their debut album, "Brightside".

17 years after Raw Deal recorded their debut demo, Dead Serious Recordings released it on 7-Inch vinyl. The ’88 Demo was pressed in two color options, red and white. In 2017, Killing Time self-released their demo on 12” vinyl. The demo was pressed in 3 color options: Orange, Grey Marble, and Clear with Black/White Splatter. Fast forward to 2024, the ’88 Demo is once again available on vinyl thru Triple-B Recordings! The demo is pressed on 12" vinyl in 7 different color variants.
